We are proud to share that Dr. Kathleen Gabrielson has been promoted to full Professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the Department of Molecular and Comparative Pathobiology.
Dr. Gabrielson’s work spans comparative pathology, oncology, and toxicology, with a research focus on improving cancer therapies while reducing off-target toxicity. Her innovative use of animal models and advanced imaging techniques has advanced our understanding of metastasis and treatment-related cardiac effects, with important implications for patient care.
In addition to her impactful research—supported by organizations including the National Institutes of Health and the American Heart Association—Dr. Gabrielson is a dedicated educator, mentor and collaborator, contributing to interdisciplinary efforts across the Johns Hopkins community and beyond.
